Community Manager

As our Community Manager, you will be the driving force behind the growth, engagement, and impact of our founder network. You will build scalable processes to track and analyse community behaviour, ensuring that every initiative aligns with the needs of our founders. From our online platform to in-person events, you will work closely with internal teams to test, pilot and pivot events, programs and initiatives that support founders and the commercial growth of Techleap. This role is not just about managing an online space, it’s about deeply understanding tech founders, their challenges, and what drives them, and then working with the team to build a thriving community experience both in person and online around that.

What You’ll Be Doing

Think of yourself as the architect of an engaged, thriving community. Your mission? To make sure founders feel supported, connected, and empowered while helping us scale our impact, so founders can scale theirs.

  • Create meaningful connections as founders shouldn’t feel like they’re navigating this journey alone. You’ll foster deep, valuable relationships within the Techleap network, ensuring members feel supported every step of the way.

  • Develop smart, scalable ways to track engagement, member needs, and feedback, so we always know who’s thriving and who might need a nudge.

  • Delve into (new) commercial opportunities for Techleap that benefit the ecosystem. Techleap needs to support its activities fully privately funded and we depend on ideas that can generate additional funding.

  • Analyse trends and turn insights into action by sharing key takeaways with community, data, marketing, and partnerships teams. Your insights will shape our online platform (and Slack!), fine-tune our messaging, and ensure events and sessions hit the mark.

  • Lead initiatives that measure impact and drive continuous improvement, so we’re tracking what truly matters as we roll out new projects and close the loop.

  • Help us identify (and break down) barriers founders face (like funding, policy access, skill growth) leveraging the power of our team and community to provide real support.

  • As we grow, we’ll be engaging more than just founders. You’ll help develop strategies to bring leadership teams and other key stakeholders of our community into the fold.

  • Ensure we’re building spaces that cater to different business stages and stakeholder needs, while maintaining a cohesive, connected ecosystem. 

  • Bring this together in the “Techleap playbook” for engaging our expanding audiences, so we can continue building strong subcommunities without reinventing the wheel.

Who You Are

You already built and maintained relevant communities for some years now in the Tech and AI space with the Startup/scaleup ecosystem and care deeply about helping tech founders succeed.

  • You are an exceptional communicator and connector. You ensure all stakeholders have access to the insights they need to understand what the community values.

  • Your assessment and judgement on tech founder challenges is unrivalled. You understand the challenges they face and what kind of support truly adds value.

  • Bold are the brave, or was it brave are the bold? Well, safe to say that you’re confident engaging with senior stakeholders and building trust within the community.

  • You think ‘processes’ and you thrive on building structures that scale and make data-driven decisions possible. 

  • You don’t see problems, but opportunities for creativity. By digging into root causes of  challenges you uncover the root causes of challenges and ensure what we build meets the real needs of founders.

Note: For this role you need to live in the Netherlands already. We don't relocate and apply for Visa in this position (but can take over existing visa from other employers).

This is what you get in return: Next to your monthly salary (t.b.d.), you will get 8% holiday allowance, 15% pension allowance for you to allocate, a great home- and BYOD allowance, travel allowance, unlimited holidays, hybrid working setup (2-3 days WFO) and a full time contract (ideally 40 hours per week).
