Ecosystem Interventions Manager

Create successful and high impact interventions in the (deep)tech domain. Focus on creating long-lasting interventions based on founders' scaling needs that have future proof impact.

Techleap is a Dutch tech ecosystem builder, working to foster a well-connected, inclusive, and self-empowered sector. We help founders of (deep)tech ventures to be better equipped for growth. As a Program Manager you will create programs and interventions for the ecosystem based on data-driven insights. This is how we improve the success of our tech founders and government and create a thriving ecosystem. 

Key responsibilities:
Strategize, develop, and execute initiatives (aka interventions) to maximize the impact of tech entrepreneurship in the Netherlands. Create data-driven interventions to address topics relevant to (spinning out) deeptech ventures, government themes, our national technology strategy, growth markets and early stage deeptech challenges (f.e. early stage funding and employee participation). 

  • Identify intervention areas in collaboration with founders, the Ministry of EZK (and other ministries) and relevant stakeholders like incubators, investors and partners while maintaining strong relationships with them.
  • Develop and implement ecosystem interventions aimed at supporting the growth and development of the tech ecosystem supported by founders and ecosystem stakeholders.
  • Monitor and report on program outcomes, including tracking KPIs and working on continuous program improvements.
  • Provide leadership and support to the program team by setting performance goals, offering guidance and coaching, and ensuring high-quality program delivery.

You are:
As a professional you know your way around in the tech ecosystem. You are experienced in creating interventions, as well as executing them effectively. You enjoy working on complex, challenging tasks that require perseverance to achieve the desired results. You have the following qualifications:

  • You have very strong and relevant experience in program management, the deeptech ecosystem, and/or change management (give or take +6 years of experience).
  • You bring experience managing complex projects and working with diverse stakeholders from A-Z. Strategize, develop, and execute! Think tech & innovation.
  • You possess strong communication-, and analytical skills.
  • You have knowledge of (deep)tech ecosystem development, tech entrepreneurship and investment/funding.
  • You already live in the Netherlands.
  • We highly prefer a native Dutch speaker given the governmental connection in this position.

This is what you get in return:

For this position within Techleap we offer a salary between €4.500,- and €5.800,- gross per month based on full time employment. Next to that you will get a 8% holiday allowance, 15% pension allowance for you to allocate, a great home- and BYOD allowance, travel allowance, unlimited holidays, hybrid working setup (2-3 days WFO) and a full time contract (32-40 hours per week).
