Key Responsibilities:
An Event Manager like yourself is used to working with internal teams and strict deadlines to ensure maximum alignment on programming, content and partner involvement, making sure our sessions remain top notch.
But next to that:
You define objectives (timelines, milestones) and KPIs for events together with the Senior Event Manager for existing events (like Rise, MEET, and more);
You prepare all events in detail. Think about venue scouting and -bookings (including site visits), catering, AV setups, and other logistical needs;
During events you are there to oversee attendee registration and communications. You ensure smooth operations by managing teams and troubleshooting issues;
After the event you are responsible to gather post-event feedback and analyse this to improve future events;
You regularly update stakeholders on progress and (anticipated) bottlenecks;
You work with smaller and bigger budgets but always find ways to improve cost-efficiency of our events and programmes, this includes experimenting new event ideas and executing on those.
Skills and Qualifications:
For this role we look for around 2 to 4 years of experience in event management;
Strong experience in all aspects of event planning and coordination in for small-to-medium-sized events (e.g. conferences, workshops, meetings, and social events), including logistics, programming, and on-site execution;
Experience with coordinating various aspects of events, such as logistics, AV, Catering, Event Experience and basic budgeting;
Strong project management skills (timelines, resource management and deliverables);
Clear and effective communication skills to align teams, partners, and stakeholders;
Pro active and positive work attitude and ditto communicator;
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and ideally Dutch;
