Techleap is building a long term approach to accelerate Deeptech ventures in several critical verticals. As part of the journey we aim to develop an action plan including content and playbook to position the Deeptech 2035 pilot for success. We are looking for a Program Manager that can develop and translate the approach with our Deeptech team into execution mode as fast as possible! For this to work we are looking to hire a person with demonstrated program development experience working in a plural stakeholder domain within tech and government that is also great to work with! Our Program Manager 

As our Program Manager you will be responsible for leading a portfolio of projects that range from ecosystem mapping to innovation driven entrepreneurship programs. You will be responsible to deliver a pilot approach (program) that will result in:

  • A vertical playbook that presents a structured approach to be copied onto following verticals;

  • An integrated analysis of the verticals, its landscape & players, the strength & weaknesses of the ecosystem, encountered and expected bottlenecks and opportunities for startups and scaleups to develop upon;

  • A full fledged action plan including collaboration and funding proposition for this first vertical we will develop together;

  • And accompanies content for the business case and stakeholder proposal and communication with relevant stakeholders in the domain. 

Key responsibilities

To reach these goals we ask for a track record on multiple fronts that help Techleap and you to be successful in this new role within a dynamic non-profit that focuses on advancing the Tech Ecosystem in the Netherlands!

  1. Program development
    Translate the strategic objectives into concrete plans and identify opportunities for new projects and initiatives in the Deeptech vertical for the 2035 pilot.
    You will initiate and coordinate research projects that contribute to strategic insights and translate them into actionable recommendations.

  2. Program management
    We ask you to lead multiple projects, ensuring a clear planning, manageable objectives and deliverables. These should be captured in a monitoring process that allows for risk assessment, budget planning and resource allocation.

  3. Fostering strategic collaboration
    In this role you will lead a multidisciplinary team (in a functional setup) and facilitate collaboration among various stakeholders, both internal and external. You will ensure effective communication with management on progress, results and iterations for future improvements.

Your background and experience
At least 5 years of experience in a role that is similar to that of a strategy consultant with experience in delivering an end product;

  • Experience in leading multidisciplinary teams;

  • Relevant experience with scaling Deeptech ventures and the challenges they face, preferable including domain knowledge and experience in the Future of Compute;

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;

  • Experience in senior stakeholder management;

  • Proactive attitude with a focus on results and impact;

  • Familiarity with various project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum) is a plus;

  • You are located in the Netherlands and are eligible to work here and at the same time you have experience in the Dutch tech ecosystem.

Conditions for the position:

Next to your salary (t.b.d.), you will get an 8% holiday allowance, 15% pension allowance for you to allocate, a great work from home- and BYOD allowance, travel allowance, unlimited holidays, hybrid working setup (2-3 days WFO) and a full time contract (ideally 40 hours per week).
